There is so much that could be said of both Anastasia Hohriakova and her artwork that I do not know where to start. I have been a fan of Nastia since her 'early days' as a painter of fresco at which time she painted one of my office walls with a scene reminiscent of the canals of Venice. Having previously had only a white wall, I was immediately transported away from a city which has often been described as beautiful but bleak - Moscow.

As much as the beauty of the fresco that she created, I was in awe of the rapidity with which she completed this work of art - overnight. I remember thinking as I gazed upon the gondolas that this is truly someone who not only loves art, but lives for it. Were I as talented in business, I should today be rich. That said, I have discovered that what I lack in money has more than been made up for by people like Nastia who have added a dimension to my life that I would otherwise not have known.

Having now visited her site, though the awe with which I behold this young artist has not subsided, I am left with feelings that I have not felt in a long time - wonderment and amazement not to mention admiration.

You are truly an inspiration. In conclusion what more can I say . . . Oh yeah, 'Hey Nastia, I've got a dozen more wall that could use an artist's touch'.

I wish to take this opportunity to be first to comment, even before the site is officially unveiled on the net. I know Anastasia well both as a person and as an artist, and I have never faltered in my admiration for her talent, her amazingly rich inner world, her inexhaustible energy and her limitless capacity for work. I must also add that those qualities vital in an artist have formed a kind of integrity in Anastasia, which is nourished by her enormous passion and love for painting and art.

Many years ago on the way to art school, Anastasia said that she wanted her pictures to carry people through time… Though she may not remember those words, it’s not important. What is important is that her words have come true – she can do it!

Above all things, I wish Anastasia a long, interesting and creative journey, and the place in the art world that she deserves. I hope a great many people will appreciate her talent. Keep up the good work!
